Yes, please!  I’ve seen Billy Rice Band many times before and was very interested to find out what this would be about.

He and Rick Fass were playing guitars and Billy was singing original tunes. Wow! I thought I’d heard all of his songs… but no, not even close. He’s got scads of tunes he’s written over the years, too many to fill one concert! And Rick’s guitar picking harmonized perfectly with Billy’s. I found it hard not to get up and dance to a few (and I noticed several others in the audience wiggling in their seats too!).

The venue was so fun – Manatee Performing Arts Center in Bradenton. The audience was able to get refreshments from the lobby and bring them in to the theater to enjoy while listening to this fabulous music. The sound guy, Buck worked hard to mix them perfectly for our listening pleasure! And as a bonus our money went to benefit the education programs at the Center.

And if you know Billy and Rick at all you won’t be surprised to find out that during intermission and after the show they went through the audience schmoozing and hugging!  Thanks boys for a great night!
